Biography
While Robin Antin’s wildly successful pop group The Pussycat Dolls is once again on a sold out worldwide tour with their new album Doll Domination, Robin has also found her way back into the home of the Pussycat Dolls Lounge, Las Vegas. She is currently producing a new show, Matt Goss, Live From Las Vegas, opening Sept. 4 at The Palms.
LA based (born & raised) Robin Antin is a true American success story. She’s a choreographer, a music video director, a clothing designer, and an incredibly savvy entrepreneur. In 1995, Robin founded the modern burlesque troupe, The Pussycat Dolls, which she started as a cabaret act at the infamous Viper Room in Hollywood. By 2005 she had been diversified into various media including: Turning her ‘stage’ show into the biggest pop group sensation in the world; 5 hit songs under her belt after only one album, titled PCD; a Las Vegas Pussycat Dolls Nightclub and Casino, (inspired by the original stage show); two seasons of her own reality show on the CW, based on ‘Finding the next Doll’; creating her new girl group ‘Girlicious,’ who are currently touring throughout Canada, selling out arenas with a platinum self titled album; merchandise, including her first collection of lingerie, Shhhh, by Robin Antin, as well as her very own fitness DVD Pussycat Dolls workout, by Robin Antin, to launch later this year.
Along her journey, Robin has worked with many artists who have helped her pave the way to developing her phenomenally successful brand. They include Christina Applegate, who was in the original stage show, Gwen Stefani who also performed with the group as well as Christina Aguilera, Charlize Theron & Scarlet Johansen, all of whom supported Robins dream.
While Robin was planning to take over the world, she was and is a well known choreographer for Films such as Charlies Angels-Full Throttle, where Cameron, Drew, and Lucy were ‘Undercover Pussycat Dolls,’ The Sweetest Thing, starring Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate and A View From The Top, starring Gwenyth Paltrow. Robin is also known for her sexy sultry moves she gave to Paris Hilton for her infamous Carls Jr. Commercial.
