Kiera Chaplin
Actress
Actress and model Kiera Chaplin has graced the covers of Town & Country and Harper's Bazaar as well as the pages of fashion and gossip magazines worldwide. The 25-year-old beauty is genuine "Hollywood Royalty," with a grade "A" artistic DNA heritage, as a granddaughter of film legend Charlie Chaplin and Oona O'Neill, and a great-granddaughter of Pultizer and Nobel Prize winning Playwright Eugene O'Neill.
Most recently, Kiera has been set to star in a $70 million epic feature, William Tell, based on the legendary Swiss hero in which she'll portray Tell's wife. Among Kiera's work in films are roles in "The Importance of Being Ernest," "The Year that Trembled," and "Japan" with Peter Fonda.
In the fashion world, Kiera has appeared in recent campaigns for Walter Steiger and in January she was launched as the official spokesmodel of Maggie Norris Couture.
Raised on her grandparents' estate in Vevey, Switzerland, Kiera began her modeling career in New York and Paris as a teenager, where she began gracing the pages of high fashion magazines and was photographed by Herb Ritts for Vanity Fair. She has also appeared in campaigns for Asprey with Bruce Weber, Armani Exchange with Peter Lindbergh, and Tommy Hilfiger with Pamela Hanson and in 2002 was featured in the Pirelli Calendar. In addition, Kiera has been a spokesmodel for Tommy Hilfiger and Roberto Cavalli. Raphael Mazzucco recently photographed Kiera for his art exhibition and she's been shot for many books, including Inheriting Beauty by Roger Moenks and LA by Sinisha. Included amongst the world-class photographers she's worked with are Mario Testino, Michel Comte, Inez and Vinoodh, Karl Lagerfeld, Patric Shaw, Greg Kadel, Terry Richardson and Alex Bensimon. Among recent highlights of Kiera's presence in fashion magazines worldwide, was her June' 07 cover story for Harper's Bazaar Turkey .
As part of Maggie Norris Couture's upcoming marketing campaign, Kiera is currently having her portrait done by the pre-eminent artist Nelson Shanks (portraitist of Princess Diana, Presidents Clinton & Reagan, Pope John Paul II) wearing Norris' Ekaterina Corset.
