For a second consecutive year, Darin Brooks has received a 2009 Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor for his role as ‘Max Brady’ on NBC-TV’s Days of our Lives. This coveted recognition arrives on the heels of Darin’s impending departure from daytime as he is set to star in the new half-hour primetime Spike TV show, Blue Mountain State, which has received a 12-episode order.

Premiering this summer, Blue Mountain State stars Darin as one of three incoming freshmen who attend Midwestern football powerhouse Blue Mountain State. A comedy in the vein of Animal House, Darin and his friends must adapt to college life while juggling football, women, classes and nonstop hazing.
