Los Angeles, CA.

12 EPISODE ORDER FEATURES THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES STAR
IN A RAUCOUS COLLEGE CAMPUS COMEDY
Darin Brooks, star of NBC-TV’s Days of our Lives, is set to star in the new half-hour Spike TV show, Blue Mountain State, which has received a 12-episode order. For the past 3 years, Darin has portrayed good guy ‘Max Brady’ on the venerable NBC daytime soap. He received a 2008 Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his work.
Premiering this summer, Blue Mountain State stars Darin as one of three incoming freshmen who attend Midwestern football powerhouse Blue Mountain State. A comedy in the vein of Animal House, Darin and his friends must adapt to college life while juggling football, women, classes and nonstop hazing.
Growing up in Hawaii, Darin was an avid surfer who also excelled at baseball, soccer, football and skateboarding. Darin still often uses his skateboard as his mode of transportation to the Days of our Lives Burbank studios. During his high school years, Darin played guitar, bass and drums with a band.
Currently, he is very involved with the charitable project, Tag the World, serving on the organization’s Honorary Board of Advisors. The non-profit raises money to aid children, cancer research, animals, Africa support and eco causes through the sale of their unique Tag necklaces.
